Let me introduce you to these super fun two, The Times Duo, specializing in live entertainment. If you haven't been blessed to witness Mark & Dave in action you are definitely missing out! The way they can get a dance floor going is pretty impressive. Who doesn't love busting out on the dance floor to all those old school hits, the all round vibe is just incredible. Mark & Dave who live locally in Cape Woolamai got in to business a while back now doing regular live performances, including performing for world champion Marc Marquez & his team as they won his 6th moto GP victory which "was pretty legendary" They have played many functions from food truck carnivals, conferences, birthday celebrations and, best of all, weddings. The thing they love most about the wedding industry is the overall celebration of love. Getting those shape cutting, bum wiggling oldies off their seats & grooving on the dance floor. They love it when the crowd goes wild with all those memorable sing a long songs. One of their more memorable moments was their first wedding down in Tasmania. After the perfect ceremony everyone was just ready to set the night on the fire. The dance floor was full from the beginning right until the end & it all came together beautifully. The setting was stunning, the guests were electric & the celebrations were just explosive! Not knowing the couple before the big day to now remaining very close friends, that was when they knew that live music is the magic touch every wedding needs. Their favourite moment was when a bride asked to play the imperial march for the bride as she walked down the isle. "It's always a peak moment when we see brides crowd surfing" Mark & Dave love the idea of real live entertainment at weddings & they would love to see more of it because you just can't beat the atmosphere! The Times advice to all those couples out their in the planning stages of their wedding would be similar to all of our suppliers & that is enjoy the absolute shit out of it, if it's not fun you are doing it wrong. Don't be too ridged with your schedule, let things flow organically & allow some spontaneous moments in there. The best moments happen on the dance floor so GET AROUND IT !! Let me share one of their clients reviews with you all. "David & Mark from the Times Duo are a class act, extremely talented musicians that understand how to read the room & play accordingly. They have great song selections too! David was great to deal with from the early booking stages right up until our event date. I would highly recommend these guys for any event." - Sarah Cooke, professional development executive www.thetimesduo.com/Love always Kaylah x
