Good morning! Today I am going to touch base on how to make your wedding environmentally friendly, preserving the environment is something that is super important for a sustainable future. What is the point of single use plastics & items you simply just throw away after all the pressure to get the "picture perfect instagrammable wedding" many of us don't even think twice about the impacts that our wedding purchases & excess food have on the environment so down below are a few great ways to reduce our impact on the environment to make everyone happy for the foreseeable future.
You want your wedding to be one of the most memorable days of your life but in fact it is also one of the most wasteful days if you're not careful. They say the average wedding wastes around 200 kilograms of trash and 65 tons of carbon dioxide in one single day... :( Luckily eco friendly weddings are becoming increasingly popular ( I think our generation is so extremely lucky to have the worlds most amazing mans influence "David Attenborough" that the message is finally sinking in) Honestly how can you not love that man. Okay so I'm going to list a few small changes below that can honestly make the biggest difference! Hello again everyone. Happy Friday, hope your week has been a good one.
Now lets have a chat about wedding songs for your first dance. I know most people might already have a playlist of the songs that they wish to use for their overall wedding day but I put together a few I think are super cute for your first dance, I can just picture you with your lover swaying on the dancefloor as newlyweds to any of these songs. Have a read to see what you think! Nowadays society has us present in the things maybe we should not be so present in? Like deep into social media scrolling for absolute no reason. Or even so worried about what everyone else is doing & not ourselves.
Here is few tips to help you stay 100% present on your wedding day. Hi there,
Happy Friday everyone. What better way to start the weekend than banging out a few cocktails at home. Below I have listed a few of my favourite cocktail recipes to hopefully bring you some joy during your time staying at home. These are easy to make & SUPER DELICIOUS!! THE LITTLE GREY FARM STAYLocated on a 5th generation farm on Phillip Island is where you will find The Little Grey Farm Stay. The Farm is steeped in history from being a horse racing property to now being used for Primary Production. The Farm Stay has been lovingly restored to encapsulate the essence, calmness and tranquility that farm life has to offer.
Katie & Matt welcome you to enjoy this piece of paradise with their family. The couple love living on the land so much they have incorporated this through their grazing table company, using all local produce, home made produce. Pre order your graze for the ultimate in indulgence. www.grazefarmtoplate.com.au. It is often tough to measure the longevity of relationships these days with the world being so unpredictable. Some times external factors change daily within a persons life, so this can be hard to sustain a relationship. In saying that when thinking of where you would like to be in 5 years time, does your partner fit in to that plan? Here are a few little pointers to consider before popping the question.
You may think your wedding invitations might be small part of a big day & not mean that much BUT I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU. They can be a big influence on your day, after all, how are you planning to ask all your nearest & dearest to celebrate one of the biggest days of your life!!?
I love the fact you are able to make a statement before the actual wedding. Your wedding invitation are your guests first impressions of your to-be-wedding so make them count. Remember to think carefully about how you are going to grab everyone's attention, then tie the invites style in with your wedding day stationery. Today I was lucky enough to chat to the lovely Hannah Milford-Robertson about her wedding day. I have always wanted to know what the brides think when they look back on their special day, What would they have done differently? What did they love about the planning process?
What suppliers did they use? Literally anything & everything to do with their day! Here is a little insight to everyone in their planning process. With so much inspiration out there is can be difficult to decide on the one look you want. Here is a little insight into choosing the look for you.
THROUGHOUT THE PLANNING PROCESS THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE COUNT ON YOUR WEDDING DAY27/8/2020 Hello lovelies, today I want to talk to you all about intentions within your wedding day.
What is your purpose for your special day? (Others that to get married... obvs.) Do you even have one or are you following a plan? Do you want to follow those typical traditions or do you want to steer clear and create your own? Honestly sooo much to talk about, I am loving this topic! Society these days is heavily based around what everything 'should' look like, what Instagram portrays you should have, the never ending Pinterest boards of things that are may be unachievable for you. It's a bloody joke if you ask me. If you think you have to look a certain way or do things a certain way because someone else has on Instagram please, please, think again! Do what is solely you as a couple, if you want a Jurassic park themed wedding literally go for it! If you want food trucks do that, don't listen to what anyone else's wants, this is your day, absolutely slay it in your own way! |
