When it comes to turning wedding memories into something guests will talk about long after the last champagne is poured, Nat from The Photo Booth Girl and The Event Hire Girl has it nailed. Think kombi vans, caravan booths, indoor setups, neon signs, lawn games, giant LOVE letters, and yes, more props than your average theatre department. If it screams fun, chances are Nat’s got it.

How It All Started

Nat’s husband Shannon (aka Music with Memories DJ & MC) was always coming home from weddings raving about the good vibes. Nat, suffering some serious FOMO, thought, “Well hang on, I want in on that action!” Cue the birth of The Photo Booth Girl and The Event Hire Girl - a double whammy of party-starting awesomeness.

What She Loves Most

For Nat, weddings are about joy, connection, and a whole lotta laughs. After clocking up over 2,000 weddings, she’s seen everything: circus-themed receptions, pregnancy announcements mid-booth, a bridesmaid in a dinosaur costume, and yes… even a baby crocodile. She’s hosted newborns, centenarians, influencers, undercover cops, and more nudity than she’ll ever admit to her Nan. “Having a premium photo booth service is the gift that keeps on giving,” she says. Couples tell her all the time that flicking back through their albums and seeing what really happened on the night is pure gold.

Memorable Moments

From couples racing to say ‘I do’ just minutes before the 11.59pm lockdown cut-off, to VIP gigs at Rod Laver Arena for Shania Twain (casual flex), Nat’s work has taken her everywhere. And yep, she’s even been featured on Channel 7, 9 and 10 - turns out photo booths really do make for good TV.

Insider Wisdom

Nat’s biggest tip? Don’t blow the whole budget on styling and “pretty things.” The reception is the longest part of your day - invest in the stuff that keeps guests fed, watered, and entertained. Translation: food, booze, music and photo booths should be high on the list. Pretty is nice. Fun is essential.

How She Gets It Right

When Nat first chats with a couple, she usually asks about their venue. It tells her everything she needs to know about their vibe. From there? She’s off and running, crafting the perfect package of booths, backdrops, signs, and games to suit the party.
