Hey guys, I wanted to jump on here to chat about how bloody fast the end of the year has snuck up on us. ALTHOUGH the actual year was majorly slow and semi depressing with the whole Rona thing. Lets hope that is all behind us now so we can get back to living our best lives! How exciting that Christmas is only a few weeks away so I say it's time to eat, drink & be merry :) 2020 has definitely been an interesting one that's for sure, maybe not so eventful but more for enjoying time with loved ones inside our homes. I hope everyone has learnt a few important things from this lets say "experience" The things I have learnt & am super grateful for is not taking things for granted and how to live exactly in the moment. Below I want to share with you a few coping mechanisms to deal with the end of the year crazies!!! TIME MANAGEMENTWrite a list, check it twice, try to find out who's naughty or nice hehe oops Christmas got me again. Okay on a more serious note..... Time management is literally my best friend. If I didn't manage my time properly I would be a pile of anxious mess on the floor haha. Allocating times for all your errands will honestly make things run so smoothly. A diary or journal is a good start, as Sunday rolls around plan your week ahead so you know exactly what is going on each day. This can reduce any unwanted stress of forgetting things you need to do. Work out what takes the longest out of your list of to do's then work your way through your list. If you're the type to fly by the seat of your pants then maybe this is not for you, or maybe this is what you do need to write it all down so you can organize your life accordingly. For example Monday 11am- Wrap those chrissy presents Monday 12pm Clean the house Monday 1pm Hair appointment Monday 4pm Exercise I always love to do everything after work or during the week so then on the weekends I can have spare time to hang out with friends and family :) Everyone is so different in how they manage time, I personally think it is super important to hone in on time management skills. Trust me you won't look back! GRATITUDEEvery. Dam. Day. Practice it, preach it, live it. Always think about what you have in your life & why you should be grateful for it. Once you practice gratitude I can assure you for even the simplest things you will remind yourself how good you might actually have things in terms to others. Also remember that not everyone can afford to celebrate Christmas or buy their loved ones presents. So in other terms kindness goes along way. Possibly donating to a charity fund to help others in need have a Christmas gift might be something that will make you feel gratitude on a whole new level. AT THE END OF THE DAY; IT IS WHAT IT IS MY FRIENDSAhhh this old chestnut, don't sweat the small stuff. Everything always has a magical way of working itself out one way or another.
There is no point getting your tinsel in an tangle, life is too short. Take a deep breathe, get some fresh air & figure out what the heck you need to do before the end of the year :) If things are getting too stressful call on a friend or family member to help you get things organized. Just think, when you have everything organized how much fun the end of the year is. It's always such a bloody good time and after all you dam well deserve it after the year we have had !! |
