Hey all, it's been a hot minute.
We have been absolutely flat chat as of late. Back to back weddings, new bookings rolling in & a styled shoot.
Hello and happy Friday everyone,
Today is a bit of a special blog. We are introducing the newest member to The Shearing Shed family.
We are excited to welcome Adam Beckett as the newest head chef.
Adam is a much loved husband to Tara and a father of 2 beautiful girls Dottie and Hermione.
Not to forget the cats too Rupert, Rosie and Jim.
I can't wait to tell you all about Adam and his journey.
Now may we address the elephant in the room, hire a bloody stylist please!!
Unless you want the bare minimal that can easily be done by yourself on the morning of your wedding, we strongly suggest hiring a stylist because they are worth their weight in gold!!
Most couples try and save money where they can so they think if we do it ourselves, then we just lay it out we don't have to pay someone for their time we will just rely on our friends and family to do it for us for nothing.
I completely understand saving money is super important because as soon as you say wedding the price sky rockets.
Lets have a chat about the pros and cons of hiring a stylist or doing it yourselves.
When getting hitched in a destination that isn't your home why not make a weekend out of it!?
There are so many epic locations on our beautiful Island. You can split the cost of a 10 bedroom air bnb with some friends or family or there are plenty of options for hotels.
I will list them down below so you have an idea of what is available.
When it comes to style within our venue, the options are endless. I thought it would be a good idea to show you the different ideas you can go with.
You can dress the venue any way you like. Breach out, be bold, be different!
We love it when couples steer clear of what a wedding is supposed to be like and go with what is important to them as a couple. Who wants a wedding that looks like the same cookie cutter wedding as the couple before hand!? Not me sis!
Despite the pandemic throwing a few spanners in the works for Bianca and Shaun, they managed to pull off the most incredible wedding day in January.
Their original date was in October but the ol rona had other plans for the couple.
Bianca and Shaun were obviously pretty upset about not being able to go ahead with their original date but in saying that they were super chill with re organizing a new date. They were a super understanding dream boat couple to deal with amongst 2020's shit show of a year!
