When it comes to style within our venue, the options are endless. I thought it would be a good idea to show you the different ideas you can go with. You can dress the venue any way you like. Breach out, be bold, be different! We love it when couples steer clear of what a wedding is supposed to be like and go with what is important to them as a couple. Who wants a wedding that looks like the same cookie cutter wedding as the couple before hand!? Not me sis! RUSTICWe already kind of have this one down pat, there is family history in every piece of timber that creates a warm, rustic ambience. It's well thought out interior provide the perfect black canvas for you to create your dream wedding. Then when stepping outside you can be amongst nature out in the gardens and have plenty of photo opportunities in the paddocks. For more of a rustic feel dress your tables up with coloured napkins, think dark moody colours even with a pop of colour, draped table runners & green foliage. OUTDOORFancy an al fresco affair? When you say the word outdoor wedding, I get the feels for a beautiful bright white marquee out in our courtyard. With either clear or white walls it brings an absolute vibe to the venue. You can put beautiful long tables inside, dress to impress then have a stylist by your side to make all your dreams come true. Festoon lighting creates an intimate yet relaxed dining vibe. BEACHWell well living on a Island has it's positives when it comes to beaches. Just down the road from us we have Smiths beach and a 5 minute drive around the corner we have Red Rocks beach which has some pretty epic sunsets. You can totally go for a beach ceremony at any of our amazing beach locations then we can organize your reception in our rustic Shearing Shed if you would like the best of both worlds. CLASSICClassic weddings portray a fresh as well as fancy approach. Think white blooms and lots of greenery. Something as simple as the table setting below with some fairy lights and table runners. Gives off a luxe vibe but still super classic! LUXEIf you love things a little more luxe, how about take your day to the next level with proper stationery, some tasteful bling, lush flowers and even some elegant table linen.
Despite the pandemic throwing a few spanners in the works for Bianca and Shaun, they managed to pull off the most incredible wedding day in January.
Their original date was in October but the ol rona had other plans for the couple. Bianca and Shaun were obviously pretty upset about not being able to go ahead with their original date but in saying that they were super chill with re organizing a new date. They were a super understanding dream boat couple to deal with amongst 2020's shit show of a year! Now I know when wedding planning it can be easy to be swept up in the excitement of it all, scrolling through all these epic pinterest boards & Instagram feeds but just remember the good old wedding budget is looming above you (unfortunately haha)
I totally get it when you want absolutely everything glitzy glam for your special day but the bane of couples existence is the bloody budget. Have a think to yourself, What will fit into your budget? What are the most important parts to include in your special day? Do we really need 100+ people? Dealing with dollars can become extremely overwhelming so here is a little helping hand to try nut out how to keep costs down. So you have been invited to a wedding, how exciting!! Now it is time to think of the kind words to put in your wedding card for the couple. I don't know about you guys but I am notorious for writing simple emotionless cards haha.
I feel like it is super common so I thought it would be good to touch base on a few cute ideas for a more creative card! So you have your wife/hubby to be ready to go, an amazing pinterest board with all this inspiration, possibly you have your date & venue now it's time to create the absolute A team.
You want the suppliers you choose be easy to work with. You want to literally trust them with your wedding so you can relax & enjoy! Here are a few little pointers to help you with the process. Hello lovely people, today I wanted to talk about the importance of the maid of honor & also the responsibilities that come along with it.
When selecting your maid of honor it should be someone you trust immensely, also someone who knows you extremely well & someone who can bring you back down to earth if you're having a moment. They are going to be your right hand girl when those wedding responsibilities get too much for you to handle for whatever reason. Being selected as the maid of honor is such an exciting moment, the bride willing to put full faith in you for all your help behind the scenes. Your maid of honor needs to be a good worker, be able to accept challenges head on, the mood booster, emotional baggage handler and most of all the most a big ball of good energy. Sounds complicated right!? Although this can seem like quite the challenging task I will talk you through a few important steps to put your mind at ease. Hello everyone!
