The moment we drove down the driveway we had basically made our decision that The Shearing Shed was for us. It ticked all of our boxes with location, décor, style, and affordability. Marky and I grew up in the same town. We met through mutual friends. It was pretty early in our relationship that I thought 'this guy could be a keeper'. He was always there for me. He supported me no matter what and still does. We are best friends and love doing life with each other. We visited the Shrine of Remembrance to walk through the gardens. Marky popped the question on the top of the Shrine overlooking the city that we love. We started planning our wedding and gave ourselves around 12 months. We started by booking our venue and everything fell into place from there. We had a cocktail styled wedding with delicious canapes and hand-held main meals. We found this to be a more social approach than a sit down styled night. If I had one piece of advise to pass on to future brides and grooms, it would be to take some time for you. Just the two of you. Sit somewhere and have a chat with your new husband/wife and let it all soak in. My wedding tribePhotographer: THE WHITE TREE
