Drafting your dream bouquet & centerpieces takes an extensive amount of time.
I know budgets are always a thing you don't want to go over when it comes to your wedding, then your're probably thinking the prices may seem a bit steep for a few flowers but there is far more time & effort put into it when it comes to a wedding.
You are not only paying for the product you are also paying for a service.
In the end if you are happy with the final product then its all worth it.

Here is what goes in
to your wedding quote

  • Travel to & from the flower market
  • Constant client liasion
  • Preparation of the flowers before hand
  • The cost of keeping flowers fresh & cool
  • The creation of arrangements
  • Travel to & from the venue
  • Early starts & long hours
  • The set up at the venue
  • Travel to & from where the bridal suite is
  • Delivery to the groomsmen
  • The pack down & clean up process
  • Paying a team to get it altogether for your special day!

The Type of flower

Whilst some blooms are more expensive than others, No matter how luxe the most expensive flower looks there is always going to be a flower that still looks amazing & can fit your budget just nicely. Depending on personal preference you may have to speak to your florist if you want specific flowers ordered in for your wedding, keeping an open mind that this will potentially increase the price.

The season

Not only do you want the freshest flowers for your wedding, it goes without saying the in season flowers will be the most affordable.
If you are not sure which flowers are in season & when here is a little break down!
For price wise it ranges from $1-$2 a stem, $3-$4 a stem, to over $5 a stem.

Wise words from
the PROFESSIONALS

Flowers are a beautiful & very important part of your wedding day. They set the tone, colour palette & the overall style of your special day!
Your wedding day florals can also be a huge part of the ever increasing wedding budget.
Its definitely worth understanding all that is required in the process on the florists behalf.
You also want their best advice as they are here to help you not hinder you.
A florist needs it all from you from the start, what is your go to? & also what not to go to if you genuinely dislike some florals.
A good starting point is your date & venue. From there often a vibe & colour palette is enough to get the ball rolling. A few site visits might need to be done before the wedding but often just a floor plan with a run sheet is great! Just to make sure on the big day everything can run smoothly with the other vendors setting everything up & there is no need to have direct contact with the couple.
