Happy Friday lovers!
Enjoy today's photo blog of a gorgeous couple back in April. A nice indoor ceremony followed by hours of food, drinking and dancing with the fire roaring. Arryann and Johann were the lucky winners of a themed elopement through The Island WEdding Collective which saw the prize being a wedding ceremony hosted at The Shearing Shed alongside some other amazing vendors. Due to covid it was postponed multiple times, then the day before they were due to get married the government announced they were going to go into another lockdown from that night involving the ring of steel where metro and regional weren't allowed to combine.
Due to the large scale of the styling set up had started days before the wedding was due to take place so when the lockdown was announced we all dug a little deeper and pulled it altogether just in time, moving the wedding forward a full day. Guests were called and told to hustle down to Phillip Island ASAP if they wished to see the couple tie the knot, meaning they arrived with minutes to spare before having to get home for the stay at home orders and only 4 reasons to leave your home. Now we know you might have some crazy expectations of how you want your wedding to play out but in reality shit can turn pear shaped at any time. We always say to our couples plan your little hearts out in the lead up but then on the day let go of all expectations and just enjoy the day to be exactly how it pans out.
There are so many emotions running high, the adrenaline and excitement all wrapped up into one sometimes it's hard to even string a sentence together. We want to give you a few handy tips and tricks that will help you have the best experience on your wedding day. Even the little things like staying hydrated and making sure you eat. Back in February we had the pleasure of hosting Stevie & Steve's wedding.
Below are some photos from their day! It was simply so beautiful. Firstly, what even is a wedding website?
To put it simply It is a website where you will have absolutely ALL the details for your day explained. It will never be lost in the mail or thrown in the rubbish, it will be kind to the environment and also a little money saver. With the cost of living rising we want to help you save a dollar wherever we can. Your wedding website will showcase all important things that you need to know about the day. I know planning a wedding is already A LOT am I right!? However you will have to get all these details generated for your guests somehow whether it be on a paper invite or website. Your invite might not have enough space to list all the important little details so guests can click the link anytime they think of a question or scenario for them to be taken right to the information that is listed and will save you have the same conversation 100 times. |
